Terms of Service

Petify is an online platform that connects pet parents with verified sellers, adoption partners, veterinarians, groomers, pet taxis, boarding providers and product vendors across India. Petify is a marketplace and facilitator — we are not the seller of pets, the treating veterinarian, or the provider of grooming, taxi or boarding services unless expressly stated.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or transact on Petify.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You must not impersonate another person, business or clinic, or create accounts to evade a suspension.

Sellers, adoption partners and vendors are solely responsible for their listings and must ensure they are lawful, accurate and current.

• No sale or listing of wildlife, protected or banned species, or animals whose sale is restricted under Indian law.
• Listings must comply with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and applicable state rules, including breeding and pet-shop registration requirements.
• No misleading breed, age, health, vaccination or pedigree claims; documents must be genuine.
• No off-platform solicitation to avoid Petify fees, no spam, scraping, or automated data collection.
• Petify may remove listings, reject creatives, or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Appointments with vets, groomers, pet taxis and boarding providers are contracts between you and that provider. Petify facilitates discovery, scheduling, chat and payment. Availability shown on the platform is provided by the provider and may change. Providers must hold the licences and registrations required for their services.

Our AI Symptom Checker and AI Vet features provide general information only. They are not a diagnosis and do not replace an examination by a registered veterinarian. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately.

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Petify does not store your card or UPI credentials.
• Contact unlocks, booking fees, listing boosts, advertising slots and Petify Plus membership fees are charged as displayed at checkout, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Petify charges sellers, vendors and providers a platform commission on completed transactions, disclosed in the partner dashboard.
• Petify Plus renews for the period you purchase; it can be cancelled any time and remains active until the end of the paid term.

Cancellations, refunds and returns are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You keep ownership of the photos, reviews and posts you upload, and grant Petify a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote that content on the platform and in Petify marketing. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.

Petify is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee the health, temperament, pedigree or legal status of any animal, or the outcome of any service booked through the platform, though we verify partners where marked “Verified”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petify's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Petify for the transaction concerned.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, fraud, payment disputes, animal-welfare concerns or legal requirements. You can close your account at any time from your account settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
